Selling on Redeco

How do I become a seller?

First, you’ll just need to create an account via our app. All we need are some basic details from you, including the pick up address from which our courier will collect your items when they sell. Before you start selling with us, you’ll also need to create or connect your stripe account to make sure you get paid!

What commission does Redeco charge?

10% for professional sellers & 20% for retail sellers

How do I create a stripe account?

Create your account here – https://dashboard.stripe.com/register or follow the link ‘connect to stripe’ through the app.

How do I list an item?

It’s super simple! Open the app and tap the plus icon at the bottom centre of your screen, then hit the red “+ Start Selling” button. Choose your pickup address, select the category and item type, and enter your item’s basic details. Set your price and decide whether to accept offers (toggle left for no). Then add five clear photos that showcase your item—including any defects. Finally, enter the size, weight, and a detailed description. Our team will review your listing to ensure it’s a perfect fit for Redeco.

My item is in review, what does this mean?

Our team carefully reviews each item to ensure it meets our high standards. All listings will be reviewed within 48 hours.

I’ve sold an item, how do I arrange collection/delivery?

You will receive a notification to “send off” your item. While on this screen, select a suitable date and time for you for the courier to collect the item.

I’ve received an offer, what happens now?

You can either accept the offer, submit a counter-offer or refuse the offer. The maximum reduction a customer can request is 30%.

How do I make an offer on an item I like?

Easy! Just click on the ‘make an offer’ tab to the left of ‘add to cart’ at the bottom of the screen. The seller then has 48 hours to get back to you, they can either accept or counter your offer. You’ll receive a notification/email? once the seller has responded.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards & payment via apple pay.

Shipping

How does Redeco’s delivery service work?

You choose the delivery date! Items are delivered right to your doorstep via our fully trackable service!

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes we do! Shipping is available within mainland UK.

Is there any international shipping available?

Currently no, sorry!

Returns & Refunds

Sadly things didn’t work out… How do I request a return?

If you’ve requested to purchase an item but the seller hasn’t accepted yet, your money will be automatically refunded within 48 hours.

If you’ve received an item that doesn’t match its listing description and details, please raise a dispute through the “contact us” section of our website or app.

f your received item matches the description perfectly, but you’ve changed your mind, the only option is to resell it – unfortunately we cannot accept returns for second-hand items.

Do I have to pay to return the item?

If the item has to be returned back to the seller due to an error in the listing, the return shipping fee will be covered by the seller.

When will I receive my refund?

Funds will be refunded within 7 business days from the moment of the dispute resolution.
